Well... the new footage were abandoned and forgotten in a warehouse, as
seen 
in the do***entaries... Maybe the celluloid of the extra scenes was in bad

conditions and the a color correction that match the rest of the movie was

impossible. "If you can go to the mountain, let the mountain come to you"

say here in Spain.

If not, why the heck would Ridley make a such stupid thing?
