It's not quite the same though is it?  We are all here with a common 
interest, a 26 year old film.... we are debating and interacting.  We 
each don't just have a webpage which indicates out mental state and has 
pictures (which are often stupid animated gifs) and who our unreal, 
virtual friends are.  We are not just pontificating on blogs about what 
we each feel about the film, as that would last he whole of 2 minutes 
without debate.  If we all used a template to convey information about 
ourself, we wouldn't be able to find out half the stuff we know about 
each other, like from a facebook or my space page, would you know that 
Lukas couldn't buy a decent computer to safe his life? Or that SSR can 
put people to sleep with his voice and musical taste?
