Well, good luck with that. I'd love to go back to Tokyo, but since the
company stopped sending me it has become a lot more expensive, IYSWIM.
I would strongly recommend you (or anyone, for that matter) read "River
Town - Two years on the Yangtze" by Peter Hessler - although the quicker
witted readers may have spotted that it's about China rather than Japan,
it
gives a wonderful insight into teaching English in a foreign culture and
living abroad generally. It's also just very beautifully written.
