I suspect in this case, the daughter will drag me along to see it
before I have much time to think about it, but having seen the trailer

Guess I'm into dumb action flicks then. Angelina Jolie, Morgan
Freeman, assassins, pseudo-mystical martial gun crap, hyper-cool
action **** ... wow Sign me up! I'm so there! Looks like the most
excellent movie of the year to me! Definitely will own it on DVD next
year!

I have seen the trailer for this. It is definitely, Oh, Austin Powers
got a new job... But I have also seen "Cat in the Hat" ... well, I
think I did ... most of it anyway ... well there is no way but up from
that!

This trailer boggles my mind. I will not go see this unless the
Netrunnerette insists. And so far she has expressed complete
disinterest in this film ... And given that she has been taught good
taste by moi, I'm guessing this is not going to be a great film.

It looks most beautiful and very intriguing. I very much anticipate
it is the sort of movie that I would really enjoy that the stupid
studio simply can't figure out how to market.

I like Hellboy, but was ultimately disappointed by the first.
Hopefully the second will improve on that.

I like RDJ and think he looks interesting in the Iron Man thing.
Again, as it is technology rather than magic in a real world, I am
inclined to go with it, but choose not to be "pumped" about it - as
that will save me being disappointed later.

It's Indiana Jones. What were you expecting? It will automatically
be a big hit before anyone even has chance to tell others about it.
But, I truly believe they actually want to make it really good and
really please the fans. But I'm not expecting huge leaps from the
basic Indy formula. Of course I expect a little more action from his
friends, but yes, I really expect it to be totally the aging Indiana
Jones. Old enough to be his own father. Pity Connery didn't want to
be in it, but I guess when you say "son" to a 60-year-old, it might be
a little too much to bear.
