OK, you buggers were right...this movie is brilliant :)
Bale did a good job, as did Caine, not too hammy at the emotional parts.
Neeson was a bit understated, but worked well, and Oldman was pretty
good...had the whole 'can't fight the system, downtrodden' thing going.
Holme's nipples made too many pokey appearances for my liking, somewhat
distracting, and she needs to learn to smile with both sides of her face
not just one lopsided grin :)
The story is pretty good, a solid foundation. For anything that might
look unexplainable, such as Batman's 'reinforcements' they made sure to
give a visual clue to how it worked without feeling the need to actually
explain it with character dialogue. I like that they consider us
intelligent enough to make up our own mind instead of force-feeding us
like idiots.
Very, very nice visuals and a solid Zimmer soundtrack.
Some of the scenes in 'The Narrows' were very Blade Runner, and not just
the rain, I mean the grimy, over-crowded feel of it.
All in all, 9/10 from me :))
