While you believe that Blu-Ray has to be superior simply because the 
disks are higher capacity?

That's kind of like saying that some wines are better than others 
because the cardboard box they come in is bigger than those foolish 
little 750ml bottles.

Of course, I can see why you discount upscaled SD since none of the 
Blu-Ray players are known for their ability to upscale.

Of course, the question will always go unanswered, because there are 
very few disks available on both Red and Blue, and those that are were 
encoded once, with a common codec.  We'll never see the same scene on an 
optimally encoded HD DVD and an optimally encoded Blu-Ray disk.
