The Maid loli moe vampire catgirl schoolgirl shows.
Hey, does anyone else remember when real robot shows had characters that
looked different from one another, and weren't about angst and attracting
fujo**** to draw slashpics over and over again?
Rocket Girls represents the biggest disappointment for me in a long time.
They had an op****tunity to do something really neat and unique, along with
a good focus on hard SF, and they turned it into oggling teenagers in
skintight space-suits. Good job.

Slayers came out after 1992, and in many ways got better and sillier as it
went along. Also, I need to re-state that watching Dai-Guard is a really
good idea for anyone who has been caught in either office politics or a
budget fight.
Also, for fans of light adventure, there's Rune Soldier Louie. If a viewer
is willing to look past the "I hate it because it's popular" crowd, Gurren
Lagann is pretty good, and will hopefully be out here soon. I watched the
first episode on ADV's streaming service, and I have the first volume of
the manga (Japanese language, however).
