On the subject of HD-DVD or Blu-Ray versions of BGC, the one with the
Wooden Head spoketh thus:
"In order to do it, we would have to get new, HD transfers from the
original film. As that is 16mm, not 35mm, it may not give much of an
improvement.
Right now the HD-DVD/BluRay market is so small that it's clearly not
economical to do it.
No problem with publishing this on the newsgroup."
I kind of suspected as much...
