Probably has to do with news group serve or your local OS, I have XP
(desktop) and laptop with older but still fav, win98/ME and both don't
show exact same posts, I can send message and sometimes a post is
gone but from my laptop I can see message but can't send anything
(this sucks) I use Giganews.
Alt.binaries should be the place for posting pixs, and message texts
should be done here.
