Hi Brenda,
I applaud Barry for always thinking of others before himself. It was
so kind of him to donate the money for instruments to the desert
schools especially now, with the economy crumbling to hell.
Barry has most likely lost money in real estate and stock investments,
if he had those. I feel for him because Barry has to pay the bills,
just like everyone else.
I am not for a bill being passed to save these companies either cause
this trouble was caused by GREED. Let them fall. If people can't pay
their mortgage, their house is taken away; the gov. does not save the
"little people". However, I do have some concern that this problem is
much more complex than we all are being told and if all crashes, I am
afraid that the end result will trickle down to our savings and
checking accounts, etc.
In the meantime, my main concern is trying to find GAS...I have less
than 1/4 tank and stood in line last night for an hour and the station
ran out of gas. If I can't find any gas today (I called 20 stations
this morning and none have any) today is my last day at work. A
friend/neighbor has some gas she saved for her lawnmower that she will
give me to get to a station but other than that, I am out of options.
This situation is worse than the 70s. Lines of 78+ cars....
Anyhow, I wish that there were more people on this earth that have
Barry's heart... the world would be a much better place!
Sparky
