Ernie has posted so many lies on this ng that even he cannot keep

straight anymore. The following is only an incomplete listing of
some
of Ernie's many lies...I encourage others to add their additions to
this thread so that newbies have an archived resource to refer to
when
attempting to wade through Ernie's many posted lies, evasions, and
mis-/dis-information.
THE LIE: Ernie claims that he and others have been regrowing their
hair for years using his "method".
THE TRUTH: Ernie has never posted even one single shred of credible
evidence to sup****t this spurious claim. Since Ernie first appeared
on
this ng back in 1998 only 1 other person has independently posted
that
they have regrown their hair using Ernie's method. That person is
"Homer", a do***ented troll and uncritical sycophantic ****ll for
Ernie. Homer's suspect very first post to this ng demonstrates a
combined lack of intelligence, honesty and integrity and can be found

THE LIE: When a mirror site of Ernie's old US Merchant webpage was
hosted on Geocities, Ernie tried to distance himself from that
embarrasing site by claiming that Farrel, a website operater that
Ernie apparently views as his competition, created it as a "fake
page"
and "played a shell game with his before/after pics".
THE TRUTH: Farrel saved an exact HTML copy of Ernie's old US
Merchant
site along with the original pictures, and any variations of the code
was due to the transfer process. Ernie also gave multiple
contradictory explainations for why his before/after pics showed no
discernable results, including his oft-repeated claim that Farrel
played a "shell game" with them...without ever once clearly
explaining
what exactly the "shell game" was that was supposedly "played".
After
Ernie's US Merchant before/after pics were discovered by this ng, and
BEFORE Ernie claimed that Farrel played a "shell game" with his pics,

THE LIE: Ernie claims that all people who disagree with his
"beliefs"
and "method" are actually all Farrel posting under "fake names", or
just competing "s****oil salesmen" who "don't want a cure" as it
would
be "bad for their business".
THE TRUTH: Ernie is either suffering from dementia along with the
symptoms of classic paranoid-delusion, or he is simply a liar. It
hasn't helped his case that he has presented exactly ZERO evidence of
any kind to buttress his many false claims against others.
Ironically
enough, the only person on this ng that has been proven many times
over to have actually sold and endorsed s****oil* is...Ernie Primeau.
*The Hair Loss Solution (tm), and FNS
THE LIE: Ernie claims that Farrel stole his idea and endorsed FNS, a
failed s****oil scam that Ernie claimed worked the same as his
"method".
THE TRUTH: Farrel never endorsed FNS, he covered it's release on his
website along with interviewing the principals involved and set up a
user trial to gauge it's effectiveness. The results were
overwhemingly negative, as re****ted by many users on Farrel's
website,
and FNS faded away as yet another worthless treatment. Thanks to
Farrel the truth about FNS was discovered and transmitted to people
all over the world before they spent the money on a worthless
product.
FNS was based on Pillel, a treatment for wound healing that utilized
a growth-hormone factor as one of it's main ingredients. FNS
attempted to mimic this gf-factor by using cinnamon, but the product
didn't work. FNS had NOTHING to do worth Ernie's method of
"redirecting nutrients (DHT) to the scalp hair follicles". The only
two things that FNS and Ernie's method have in common is that people
lost their hard-earned money on them, and they don't work.
THE LIE: Ernie claims he has discovered the "cure" for MPB.
THE TRUTH: Plucking body hair to grow scalp hair was an old-wives
tale that has been discredited over time for the simple reason that
it
has been proven to not work. If Ernie's method really worked than
why
isn't this and other ng's and websites deluged with ecstatic
responders re****ting their success to others? This is what you can
expect to accomplish if you were to use Ernie's method for a minimum

The fact is that there are currently no known "cures" for MPB, only
various "treatments" that work to varying degrees for some people.
THE LIE: Ernie claims that nobody has ever shed themselves a full
head of hair.
THE TRUTH: Hair grows in cycles, and the shedding process is a
continuous life-long process. Shed hair is replaced by new hair in
cycles, unless the follicle is impeded from regrowing due to factors
known to include disease, inflammation, fibrosis, and DHT "attacking"
the hair follicle. For more info see the studies conducted by Dr.'s
Sawaya and Uno among others.
THE LIE: Ernie claims he has nothing to sell and "there is not one
honest person who can post that I have ever spammed anybody".
THE TRUTH: Ernie began immediately spamming this ng with his
s****oil
when he first appeared in 1999, and only stopped after Farrel exposed
him and his US Merchant webpage. He admitted to spending $80,000 on
his "The Hair Loss Solution (tm)" scam, and now has reinvented
himself
as a phony hair loss victim advocate in order to continue to fleece
unsuspecting newbies in his ongoing effort to recoup a ****tion of his
financial investment. He hopes that people will contact him at his
WebTv address, where he can unload the remainder of his unsold stock
of saw palmetto solution on them, and if they are lucky he will throw
in a copy of his ****y xeroxed pamphlet full of psuedo-scientific

THE LIE: Farrel is a s****oiler because he sold magnetic hair
brushes.
THE TRUTH: Everybody but Ernie apparently knows that hair brushes
are
for bru****ng hair, not regrowing it.
THE LIE: Ernie claims that "what grows hair if not androgens".
THE TRUTH: Androgens grow body hair, but in some people the androgen
DHT "attacks" the receptors of the scalp hair follicle thereby
initiating the onset of MPB.
THE LIE: Ernie claims that Dr. Higano's study validates his
"method".
THE TRUTH: Dr. Higano's study was titled "Androgen Deprivation
Therapy", not "Body Hair Deprivation Therapy" and Dr. Higano
concluded
that depriving the body of circulating androgens can cause scalp hair
regrowth. If her conclusions were, as you falsely claim, due to some
secondary affect of androgen deprivation inhibiting body hair growth
(which it does because body hair and scalp hair are scientifically
proven to react differently to the presence of the androgen DHT)
thereby freeing up "nutrients" which flow to the scalp and "revive"
those follicles, then she would have noted it. She didn't, and her
conclusions are yet another nail in your coffin...body and scalp hair
ARE different, and anti-androgen treatments ARE effective in some
people for regrowing scalp hair.
THE LIE: Ernie claims that the Laval U. Study validates his "method"
THE TRUTH: Here is a link to the study, which is concerned with
treating women suffering from excessive body hair growth:

"Objective: To compare the clinical efficacy and safety of the pure
antiandrogen flutamide and the steroidal derivative spironolactone in
the treatment of hirsutism in women."
That was a study on treating Hirsutism, which is a condition of
excessive BODY hair. In genetically susceptible individuals SCALP
hair
follicles react differently than BODY hair follicles to the presence
of the androgen DHT:
A re****t by Dr Sawaya states that in humans, all hair growth requires
androgenic stimulli, except that on the scalp {even though all scalp
follicles have androgen receptors}. In genetically susceptible
subjects, some hair follicles in frontal and vertex regions of the
scalp respond to androgens by a reduced length of the anagen phase,
and regression of the follicles to produce finer, thinner hairs.
Dr. Higano's study completely contradicts your "theory". If
suppressing androgens causes scalp hair regrowth, then that confirms
the findings of Dr. Sawaya and her associates in the field. DHT is
attacking the hair follicles on the SCALP. Suppressing the DHT
allows
the SCALP hair to regrow.
I'll take Dr. Sawaya's opinion, along with her professional
associates
in the field, over your uneducated and misinformed armchair
speculations, thanks.
THE LIE: Ernie claims that there is only one cause and one cure for
MPB that will work for all...his "method".
THE TRUTH: What Ernie doesn't seem to understand, or doesn't WANT to
understand because
it would conflict with his reasoning for his "method" is that MPB in
humans is
a very complicated process that involves a number of different
mechanisms. It has become apparent that androgens, while a definite
factor in the onset of MPB, are not the only factor involved and not
the only factor to address, and those of
us that utilize a multi-modal approach (kitchen-sink) to treating MPB
have taken this into account when formulating our regimens.
Hideo Uno, an expert on MPB, explained that macaques respond more
favorably to baldness treatments than do humans...especially to
antiandrogen treatments, macaques get better and more consistent
results because macaque baldness is purely a genetic and
androgen-driven disease. Human baldness is much more
complicated, hence decreased results and a whole range of responses
to
various treatments, due to the fact that human baldness involves
inflammation
and fibrosis. According to Dr. Uno, this is the key difference
between macaque and human baldness, along with the fact that macaques
are not exposed to other factors which inhibit hair growth, like
stress, smoking, poor diets/insulin resistance, etc.
Inflammation generates a slew of potent hair growth inhibitors (IL-1,
TNF-alpha, TGF-beta1, etc.), and since fibrosis scars the structure
of
the follicle itself,
this explains the difference in results between humans and macaques.
THE LIE: Ernie claims that I have "already admitted that he and his
ilk are here
only to harrass me for getting them to expose themselves for the
liars
and crooks they are".
THE TRUTH: Here is my original post that Ernie always uses to claim
that I "admitted" that we are harrassing him because he exposed us
"for the liars and crooks (we) are". See if you can find that
admission anywhere in the following post:

THE LIE: Ernie lies to claim that he "was right about dutasteride
causing such severe shedding that it would never be marketed for hair
loss".
THE TRUTH: Dutasteride was not marketed as a hair regrowth
treatment
because,
according to Glaxo, the 'market analysis did not justify proceeding
with the Phase III Clinical Trials'. Propecia has had relatively
poor
sales as far as Merck was concerned, and Glaxo was concerned that
the
drug would not
make enough money after costs (advertising, FDA trial expenditures,
etc.) when competing head on with Propecia, the first oral
anti-androgen
treatment to hit the marketplace.
The unofficial story was that because Phase III trials were not
undertaken there were many unanswered questions regarding Dutasteride
such as it's short and long-term safety, toxicity, half-life,
contraindications with other drugs, etc. Phase
III Clinical Trials are designed to determine how well a drug works
in
a large number of people. This helps to 'fine tune' dosage
amounts and to ensure a drug's safety and effectiveness. Without this
information we cannot be assured of a drug's safety and efficacy.
Some people that have been using Dutasteride HAVE re****ted shedding,
but others HAVE NOT so it is false and uninformed of you to make a
generalization that dutasteride "causes severe shedding" in all
users.
Some users have re****ted positive results, but as we all know not
all
treatments work as well for all people...especially when you are
dealing with hormone manipulation. There seem to be too many
variables that can tip the impact of the drug one way or the other.
For the record, I DO NOT use dutasteride, nor do I advocate it's
usage...but I am interested in monitoring user results over time.
There are a whole range of factors (genetic, stress, age,
environmental, physical, etc...) to explain why some people will not
respond favorably to treatments such as Dutasteride and Propecia
(Finasteride).
The question for me to you really is WHY DO YOU COMPLETELY DISCOUNT
ALL THE RANGE OF *POSITIVE* EXPERIENCES THAT POSTERS ON THIS AND
OTHER
SITES HAVE RE****TED CONCERNING ANTI-ANDROGENS? No one is denying
that
some people have re****ted negative results. If some people have had
positive experiences, and some have had negative experiences...then
that INVALIDATES your claim that "there is only one cause and one
cure
for MPB that will work for all".
