The true and original personality of God is an odious barbaric ogre
whether you're talking about Yahweh, Jesus or Allah.
Know why we're talking about this ridiculous anthropomorphic concept
of "God" now? Because Emperor Constantine in the early 4th century AD
made Christianity the defacto religion of the Roman Empire to glue the
Empire together. (And no I'm not talking about Keanu Reeves.)
Before then Christianity made up only 8% of the population. The
reality is the old pantheon of gods were dead and one of the
new-fangled mystery-religions/heresies were needed to revitalize the
dying Empire.
Oh yeah, BTW it didn't work.

Here's some physics of God for you.
Although the concept of a God creating the universe is obviously a
barbarian creation myth, the reality is that God couldn't have created
our Earth specifically.
According to Chaos the dynamics of the universe are infinitely complex
and impossible to set in motion to create our world specifically. Sure
God could create a universe where a certain percentage of star systems
would evolve intelligent life like ours. But then you don't need a God
to create that universe.
There is also the fact that according to quantum physics there is the
uncertainty principle where observation changes reality. If you
observe the position of a particle you can't know its momentum. If you
observe its momentum you can't know its position. In other words, this
does away with the 19th century concept of a clockwork universe.
According to math - according to 2+2=4 - even God can't know both the
position and momentum of a particle. I.e, even God can't know
everything about the universe.
With Chaos and quantum mechanics there really isn't any place for an
ancient creationist ego-centric universe. It is superstion.
