SwampdaWamp's new CD

by "cg1800@[EMAIL PROTECTED] " <cg1800@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Feb 26, 2007 at 07:31 PM

Hey ya'll. I'm Christy and I'm sorta new to this group, so here I am
saying hello. I am a 70's era southern rock fan...I grew up listening to
Southern rock, and I have remained loyal to my southern, classic rock
roots in the music I listen to today. I read someone say once that
Southern Rock is not a fad...I totally get that, don't you?

I also wanted to share some good music vibes with you about a new band
I found on myspace. Maybe you've heard their song "Birthday" on your
radio. Well, the band is called SwampdaWamp and they have a new, self-
titled CD coming out on March 6th, and they've recently been on tour
in support of their new album. If you wanna know a little something
about what I think they sound like...they have that guitar rock thing
going for them that's similar to Lynyrd Skynyrd, but they also have a
groovy little fusion thing going on in their melodies and lyrics that
is similar to The Black Crowes. It's a nice mix with a 70's era,
classic rock style.

They put up some of their new music at http://www.myspace.com/swampdawamp
if you want to check them out. They may be doing a show in your area
soon, too.

Peace!
