Saw the band play last night without Warren Haynes who is sidelined for
'family reasons' (rumour is personal health)
He was replaced by guitarist Jack Pearson and a saxophonist. It was
disappointing to miss Haynes but the band all pulled up their socks and
gave a great concert. Derek Trucks was awesome, the rhythym section is
the best around and I think everyone on stage took the situation as an
opportunity to give the songs a fresh look. I had a great time and the
crowd was loud and appreciative. Even without Haynes they were still
worth the price of admission. I hope Warren gets well soon. And I think
maybe Gregg could use some good wishes too.
