Okay, someone was kind enough to provide me with enough information to
understand what in Hell you're going on about, which has absolutely no
relevance to anything I've said to date about Jimmy and passwords.
I'm fine with Jimmy posting or reposting in any group he pleases, but
locking his posts which he has taken from other groups, including
yours, Timo, and holding them as his own personal property is not the
sort practice that is desired in alternate newsgroups. For one thing,
it causes people to demean themselves by begging for passwords and
becoming frustrated when they do not receive them immediately. He says
that he's doing it for few "friends" who apparently are not
resourceful enough to find their own groups and files and forces them
to call him for access. Add to this that anyone can obtain a Web mail
account like Hush mail and email him for the passwords, not
guaranteeing that any one of these people will leak the password
publically. This caused Jimmy to mistrust his "Friends" and withhold
passwords from all but whom he considers his true friends, and his
circle of friends will shrink drastically, leaving more enemies than
friends. As a final result, he will be blacklisted and kill filtered
from people's readers and eventually considered a selfish troll with
nothing original to contribute, which has become the final truth in
his case.
Encrypting files is acceptable only if they contain information of a
personal and private nature, and unacceptable for widely distributed
publically available file.
